my only definition of the word "Favors" before was simply an act of kindness... i never used "favors" to equate as a small gifts given in the occasions like debut, sweet 16, birthdays, wedding, baptism , baby showers and quinceanera... these were known to me as giveaways , commonly called in Asian region. this is something that a host or celebrant would handover at the end of the event as a token of appreciation for the presence of the guests and as a memento of that special day. so basically, favors is a synonym of giveaways, keepsakes & small gifts. special events are not complete without this, it becomes a tradition and even an etiquette for a host or celebrant to hand this over to their guests.
choosing favors for your occasion can come from simplicity, elegance, whimsy or something you just like. surely whimsandlikes.com says it all.

What I like for today...
everyone has its own whims, likes and dislikes. no matter how simple or complicated a person you are. it's nice to indulge to even a bit of whims in life just so to satisfy a little bit of caprice side of each and everyone of us. it's nice to go for our likes that can contribute to the betterment of weaknesses and sometimes it's best to just let go and never sweat anymore on the little things that we dislike in others, in life or in this world we live in.
today i like to start my first blog with what i like, such as i like Lifetime channel, Deal or No Deal, Foodtv Network, Travel channels and even some tacky shows when my mood calls for it. i must say i like to indulge myself too on cute, adorable and whimsical little gifts that can be used for favors. i'm into providing favors nowadays, not just favors but favors that i like. one of the favors that i really like at whimsandlikes.com is the angel figurine. this figurine favor just exudes a very happy and innocent aura. staring at it just switch any mood to a pleasant mode. i like it and i love it!
